Last week I had the incredible honor to be invited by the CEO of Nestle in to a “Convening” of a small group of thought leaders on “Corporate Shared Values” (CSV). Break out groups focused on four main themes including the development of a new Nestle Water Plan, and since Nestle’s supply chain touches circa 5 million farmers - Agriculture.
I must say that the corporate commitment and authentic desire to create positive social impact that we felt from Paul and his team was impressive. Improving the social condition of humanity, however, is a daunting task that clearly goes way beyond any company’s borders.
So how can we contribute?
It is clear to us that the only way to innovate complex supply chains such as water and agriculture is to leverage modern web technologies.
For example professionals like you can use The Water Network to bring scale, transparency and knowledge sharing to a global level.
