World's First Nanofiltration-Based Portable Water Purification Device
Bondurant Technologies International has created the CamelTrain, the first all-membrane, nanofiltration-based portable water purification unit in the world. CamelTrain removes viruses and bacteria, cysts, heavy metals, color, odor, flavor, and even radionucleotides from contaminated water. It weighs less than 200 pounds, and takes less than one minute to set up.

Cheaper, Faster Test for E. coli in Drinking Water
University of Waterloo researchers and Glacierclean Technologies Inc. have invented a fast, affordable way to test drinking water E. coli. DipTest paper strips, laced with sugar, attract E. coli bacteria and trap them in the porous paper. With high levels of contamination, a result is produced in just 30 minutes.

Tech Tool for Water Resource Conservation
Ag BufferBuilder is a precision conservation planning tool from Land O'Lakes SUSTAIN, which uses site-specific soil information, 40 years of daily climate data and precise topography mapped by lasers to model the flow of water and sediment from a crop field, thus helping each farmer to optimize their production while protecting resources.
